New Me....

Ok so.... Its been A while!! But I am back... I need to post more blogs; I know.. Well I have some new pictures I wanna add; actually I have a TON of new pictures I wanna add... So here are some pics..Ok so this picture above was a van fire!!! I am the one behind the person on the nozzle.. when we showed up to this fire it was cookin! there were about seven to eight people in the van when it "mysteriously" started! who really knows how it started but it was totaled.. and everyone got out safely.. our rookie that we have at our station is on the nozzle!

The pictures to the left and below was a first alarm house fire.. This was most likely arson. It is actually close to where Jens and Kristin live! This fire was very hotttt! We could see the plume of smoke leaving our station! Look at all the foam surrounding our truck! It is foam that we use to suppress fire... It works great but gets everywhere...SO... We had to search the house next door for fire extension so my captain told me to force the door open.. when I tried to donkey kick the door it did not budge (the door was huge!) so I thought OK this time I am going to kick the piss out of it.... When I did; I kicked so hard that my helmet flew off and it still did not budge... so I said enough was enough and I took my axe and busted my way through!! Kinda like the shining "HERE'S JOHNNY!!"
